The Spiritual and Evangelization Ministries aim to provide spiritual care and information on the Catholic Faith to our parish and the wider community. We are committed to walking with God’s people in their journey of faith and proclaiming the Good News of Christ to all. If you feel that God may be calling you to deepen your spiritual life, to pray with fellow Catholics, or to share the Faith with others, explore the ministries below.
Betania X Prayer Group
The Betania X Prayer Group meets on Thursdays in Marian Hall from 7-8:30pm. On the 1st Thursday of each month, we meet in the church for Mass at 6:30pm, followed by our regular meeting in Marian Hall. On the third Thursday of each month, we meet at the Franciscan Missionary Sisters’ convent in Glassboro. Each meeting begins with the Rosary, a reflection on Psalm 91, and the Prayer to St. Michael, followed by discussions and reflections on the messages of Our Lady, Reconciler of All Peoples and Nations. We then continue with discussions focusing on the approved messages and apparitions of Our Lady in Venezuela.

Catholic Veterans Ministry
This ministry is open to men, women, and families of Catholics honorably discharged from any of the military services or reserve units. The purpose of the Catholic Veterans Ministry is to recognize and give honor to those who have served God, Church, and country by providing a Catholic presence at community activities, and by being a resource and providing consolation when needed to veterans and their families.
*Membership in the Catholic Veterans Ministry is not exclusive to parishioners of Our Lady of Peace. We want to reach out to Catholic veterans in surrounding parishes as well in order to have an active local chapter of this ministry.

Evangelization Ministry
The Evangelization Ministry at Our Lady of Peace Parish exists to support our parishioners and others in their faith journey. One way to accomplish this is by offering the ChristLife series. This three-course experience helps people to discover Jesus Christ personally, follow Him in their daily lives as Catholic disciples, and share Him with others. We also provide talks and reflections on evangelization and outreach, working closely with the Diocese of Camden’s Office of Evangelization.
The Evangelization Ministry also participates in community events. We provide a Catholic presence where people can find information about our Faith through free pamphlets, books, rosaries, etc. We engage in conversation with those who are searching for the meaning of their lives and provide an opportunity to share the Good News and the personal love of Jesus Christ. We make ourselves available at the Williamstown Music Festival, our annual parish carnival, and at other community events.

Filipino Ministry
All are welcome! Since its inception in 2012, the Filipino Ministry has been sharing its Filipino-Catholic traditions, celebrating the 6pm Mass with the parish community every first Sunday of the month, and annual larger activities, including the “Simbang Gabi” or “Rooster’s Mass” in December, and the “Santacruzan” in May. Through these larger activities, the ministry has been able to provide financial donations to our parish, Saint Mary School, and the Youth Group.
The Filipino Ministry aims to evangelize our local community by proclaiming God’s presence and power in today’s reality through active participation in the parish life. Strengthened, nurtured, and transformed by God’s life and love, we respond to the call and challenges of our times to become Christ’s disciples, building up God’s Kingdom here and now.

Perpetual Help Intercession Group
The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Intercessory Prayer Group meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 5-6pm in the church; if there is an event taking place in the church, they meet in the St. John Neumann Adoration Chapel. They pray for the universal Church, for the Camden Diocese, and for our parish.

St. Joseph Men’s Group
As a Catholic man, if you are seeking a deeper spirituality and looking to become more involved in your parish at your own pace, please consider joining the Saint Joseph Men’s Ministry. We meet every second and fourth Saturday after the 8:00 am Mass.
With St. Joseph as our role model, we seek to trust God through the Holy Spirit with our daily lives to do His will, not ours. We also support various activities in our parish and pledge monetary support to our Youth Group.
Our Mission Statement:

Taizé Prayer Ministry
The Taize Prayer Ministry models its meetings on the prayer style of the Taize Community in France, which includes simple, short songs, a psalm, a Scripture reading, silent time, and intercessions. This ministry meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30pm in St. Joseph’s Room (Parish Office basement).
